Introduction
Sierra Madre Villa Association is a neighborhood
organization that encourages and promotes safety, emergency preparedness,
elimination of crime, and communication among residents.
Organized in the wake of the devastating fire that struck the area
in October 1993, the association encompasses homes on Sierra Madre Villa
north of New York Drive and all its side streets, except for homes within
Pasadena Glen and homes above the gates at the top of Sierra Madre Villa.
Many homes are within the city of Pasadena; others are in an unincorporated
area of the county.
Mission Statement
Purpose

-
Encourage and assist residents in the development of

and actions to enhance neighborhood safety from crime, natural disasters,
and traffic hazards.

Encourage and promote communication and concern of
residents for each other.
-
Represent the area before city and county agencies to
promote and protect the interests of the area and feedback information to
residents about issues and events affecting their neighborhood.
Method of Operation

the neighborhoods can meet and get acquainted.
